Stop Drop and Roll

If there's fire on your clothes
The fireman knows
Exactly what to do
He asked for a song
That we could all sing along on
Three little words
to help keep you safe
and put that fire out
You can sing it with me or
You can shout
Stop drop and roll 2x
Three little words you need to know
Stop drop and roll
Stay Low and Go
Copyright Victor Johnson
If you're ever in a building and smoke begins to rise
And it's getting kinda scary and it's getting in your eyes
There's something to remember and something you should know
If the building is on fire you- stay low and go (3x)
1-2-3-4
Smoke will rise so stay low on the floor
Check for heat with you hand before you use a door
keep on moving out towards the nice fresh air
Don't take the elevator- take the stair
1-2-3-4
If you see somebody coming and they're in a fire suit
They've got a mask and helmet and a big ol' pair of boots
Don't be scared and hide it's only firefighting gear
Shout out where you're at! Say I'm over here! (3x)
1-2-3-4
So if you're ever in a building and smoke begins to rise
And it's getting kinda scary and it's getting in your eyes
Now you know just what to do and what you need to know
If the building is on fire- you stay low and go (3x)
1-2-3-4 Out!
